A Quick Finish for Seams
Unless you own a serger, finishing the raw edges of seam allowances can be a time consuming task. Make the task easier by trimming them with pinking shears. This seam finish may not look as “neat” as other methods, but it’ll do the job of keeping your fabric from fraying (unless your fabric is extremely prone to raveling). And trim your seam allowances first, before pressing them open. This way you’ll end up cutting both edges at once, saving even more time.
