Better Needles for Knits
Use a ballpoint needle in your machine when sewing knit fabrics. The rounded point of
this needle will slide between the fibers of your knit fabric instead of piercing them. And if
you’re sewing a very stretchy fabric, like a lycra blend, use a stretch needle. It’ll help
prevent skipped stitches.
