Check Your Spool Position

You know that little nick at the top of a spool that’s used to hold the end of the thread?
When you place this spool onto your sewing machine’s spindle, position it so the nick is
at the bottom of the holder. This is to prevent the thread from getting caught on the
nick as it’s coming off the spool.
