Cleaning Sticky Sewing Scissors
Do you have a pair of sewing scissors gunked with adhesive you can’t get off?
Here are two ideas for removing it:
Soak a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol and rub your scissor blades with it. If this doesn’t remove the adhesive, try a product called Goo Gone (available at craft stores). Goo Gone removes adhesive from just about anything. Moisten a cotton ball with the liquid and rub it onto your scissor blades.
Note: some scissors manufacturers recommend against exposing your scissors to liquid, so you may want to check with them first before trying the above.
