Cut Everything Out at Once
Cut out any needed interfacings and linings right after you’ve cut your pattern pieces from your fabric.
It’s tempting to leave this job until “later” — especially when you’re eager to start sewing your project. But you’ll save time in the long run because you already have your cutting board set up and your cutting tools out. Plus it will save you the frustration of having to stop in the middle of your sewing to cut these items out as you need them.
