How to Fold a Knit on Grain
Folding a knit fabric on grain can be challenging, especially if it twisted during laundering.
Here’s how to make the task easier:
Take a contrasting thread and hand baste (using long basting stitches) along one
lengthwise rib line at the center of the fabric. Then just fold the fabric along the basting
stitches.
Does this take time to do? Yes. But it’ll be worth it to get your fabric pieces cut on grain.
