How Wide/Deep Should I Make My Skirt Hem?
As a general rule, give narrower skirts wider hems and wider skirts, narrower hems.
But use whatever hem width will make your skirt hang nicely when finished. And don’t feel
you have to follow the hem width indicated on the pattern.
