Important Pattern Piece Preparation
Always press your pattern pieces before laying them onto your fabric. Using wrinkled pattern pieces – no matter how much you try to smooth them out by hand – can lead to inaccurate fabric pieces that don’t match up quite right and a poor fitting garment.
Use a dry iron at a very low setting – just warm enough to press the wrinkles out. You don’t want to risk scorching the tissue paper.
