Note Your Fabric’s Care Instructions

When purchasing fabric, remember to write down the fabric’s care instructions, which
should be printed on the end of the bolt. Also note the fabric’s fiber content. Store this
information with the fabric.

This is something that’s easy to forget in the excitement of purchasing new fabric. But it
would be a shame to devote so much time and energy to sewing an item, only to have it
ruined because it was cleaned incorrectly.
