Sewing Quick Tips:

Tip #1: Always use a good quality thread in your sewing machine. Those cheap spools of thread may seem
like a bargain, but cheap thread tends to be weaker (which means your seams won't be as strong), full of
nubs (which means your thread may not feed smoothly thorough your machine), and fuzzier (which means it
will likely leave a trail of lint all through your sewing machine). If you already have some cheap thread on
hand that you'd like to use up, use it for basting instead.

Tip #2: When purchasing fabric, remember to write down the fabric’s care instructions, which should be
printed on the end of the bolt. Also note the fabric’s fiber content and store this information with the fabric.

Tip #3: If possible, store fusible interfacing rolled, not folded. Storing your fusible interfacing folded can
cause creases that you won’t be able to press out without melting the adhesive.
